About Dr. A+

Michael Abruzzese, M.A., M.A., Ph.D., HSPP is a licensed clinical psychologist and health services provider and also a licensed Massachusetts school psychologist specially trained to provide behavioral health care services to both children and adults. He is a former Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School and also a former part-time lecturer and Clinical Assistant Professor at Northeastern University. Dr Abruzzese has presented training workshops nationally and internationally.

Dr. Abruzzese earned his Masters Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology/Child Study from Tufts University and later earned his Masters Degree in School Psychology from Hofstra University. He also earned his Ph.D. Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University as well.

Dr. Abruzzese obtained advanced training in pediatric and adult neuropsychology at the Harvard Medical School-affiliated Massachusetts Mental Health Center; the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Clinical Research Center; the City University of New York and New York’s Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Dr Abruzzese also obtained specialized and post-graduate training in child psychology, community and cross-cultural psychology and crisis intervention/emergency psychological services while at the Center for Multi-Cultural Training in Psychology at Boston University School of Medicine/Boston City Hospital. He is also a  Clinical Instructor at the Tufts University School of Medicine and he is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
